Updates from High Park Travel: England, Alaska & Travel Inspiration
As we enter the dog days of summer and kids return to school, we’re excited to share the latest updates from High Park Travel. In May 2026, we are hosting an exclusive escorted tour of England, visiting London, Oxford, Bath, and the charming villages of the Cotswolds. A highlight will be a guided visit to the Chelsea Flower Show, the world’s most famous garden exhibition, perfect for those who love travel, history, and horticulture.

Whether you’re a passionate gardener, someone who simply enjoys strolling through beautiful landscapes, or even an artist who loves painting outdoor scenery, this tour could be the perfect fit for you. You can View the Britain Tour Here. And if you feel this trip isn’t quite right for you, perhaps you know someone who would love to join us. If so please share our information with them. We’d be delighted to have a conversation and help them discover this incredible journey.
In addition to our upcoming Britain Garden Tour, Carol has relaunched her women’s travel group, Carol’s Crew: Women Who Travel, which is already gaining momentum with nearly 75 members between Meetup.com and Facebook. If you’d like to connect with other women who love to explore, you can join the private Facebook group here. With Carol contemplating retirement, we are building a foundation for future women only trips. We would like to include European adventures to women’s river cruises and ocean voyages designed just for women travelers along with some US destinations.
We’ve also had several clients recently return from unforgettable journeys around the world. One couple traveled to South Africa’s Kruger National Park, where they spotted the “Big Five” game animals, including a rare cheetah sighting. They described their adventure as fabulous and outstanding—a true bucket-list experience for them, and one that’s certainly on our own list as well.

Another family of five spent their vacation in Spain, scheduled a last minute trip before school started. While exploring vibrant Barcelona, they had a private tour of the Sagrada La Familia, and a highlight of their trip was enjoying dinner at a Michelin-starred restaurant in Barcelona. They also stayed in the relaxing sun-kissed coast of Marbella, and even squeezing in a day trip to Tangier, Morocco, where they successfully bargained for authentic handwoven rugs. It was the perfect family getaway before school started, and they made lifelong memories together.
In the town of Sintra: by Matt Wolfe
We also celebrated with a couple who traveled to Portugal for a wedding. While there, they experienced the sights of Lisbon by pedal cab, toured the fairytale town of Sintra, and hopped on Lisbon’s famous trolley cars before continuing on to Lake Como, Italy. Staying in the charming town of Bellagio, they enjoyed incredible meals overlooking both the lake and the Swiss Alps. Their adventure didn’t stop there as they rented a car and road-tripped through Tuscany, staying in an agriturismo farmhouse and exploring the hilltop towns of the region.
See the Inside passage of Alaska
We currently have a couple sailing the famed Inside Passage from Vancouver to Alaska on Holland America Line’s ms Noordam, followed by a Denali National Park land tour after their cruise. From the comfort of their balcony verandah stateroom, they’ll enjoy incredible views of glaciers, fjords, and Alaska’s rugged coastline—including the chance to witness the dramatic sight of receding ice fields. We can’t wait to hear their stories when they return, because the truth is: no one ever comes back disappointed from an Alaska cruise. An Alaska cruise and Denali tour is truly a bucket-list travel experience combining wildlife, scenery, and adventure.
Be on the lookout for more details about our upcoming online social hour, Sips and Trips. We first launched this idea in early 2024, but life got busy and we had to pause. Now we are excited to bring it back as a monthly virtual series where we’ll gather together to chat about cruise lines, travel destinations, and exclusive “travel with us” group trips. It’s a fun way to connect, ask questions, and get inspired for your next vacation. We’re planning to kick off the first session this September, and we can’t wait to see you there.
That’s the updates from High Park Travel. As always we appreciate your support and are never too busy for your referrals. Even one referral can make a big difference in the growth of our business.
