Laird Pelzer helps plan and coordinate trips, organizes socials, and travels with Carol’s Crew.

Holding a Master’s Degree in Linguistics from Georgetown University, Laird has a background in teaching English as a Foreign Language, including at the Japanese Embassy and Ambassador’s Residence in Washington, DC. She also has experience organizing large-scale diplomatic events at the French Embassy in Washington, DC, among other venues, and corporate events, as well as special events in New York City, Asheville, and Edinburgh, Scotland. She has lived and worked in Spain (Madrid and Santiago de Compostela) and studied in Paris where she earned a Certificate in Translation. She has traveled throughout Western Europe from the Iberian Peninsula to Scandinavia, as well as Bulgaria, Hungary, Egypt, and India. Her preferred travel style is to experience life as the locals do through authentic and immersive cultural and social activities, ultimately creating links with people around the world. Laird’s motto is “The world awaits!”
